Introducing the first Father Gabriel Orthodox Christian comic strip painted in Infinite Painter. Infinite Painter is a mobile painting app that I recently purchased for my Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Up until now, I’ve been using a free app called Artecture, which has been great and wonderful, but I wanted to move on to a new app that was beyond just the basics. After much research on painting apps I came across Infinite Painter and loved it. So from now on all my future Father Gabriel comic strips and webtoons comics will be done in Infinite Painter.
That being said and done, I found a wonderful quote by Saint Siloan the Athonite and felt that it would make a great Father Gabriel comic strip:
Do not be cast down over the struggle – the Lord loves a brave warrior. The Lord loves the soul that is valiant. ~ Saint Siloan the Athonite
We all get discouraged sometimes or even lose faith when we are up against difficulties in our lives. Whatever those difficulties may be, God will not allow us to face difficulties that we cannot handle, as the Bible verse below says:
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. ~ 1 Corinthians 10:13
So let us take heart, let us be courageous because God is with us, and if God is with us who can be against us? (Romans 8:31).
In my latest comic strip, the mountain represents our difficulties, challenges and hardships in life, and the rain and thunder represent our fears and doubts. So let us bgo through our difficulties by climbing to the top of the mountain, because God is with us to strengthen us and give us courage! For we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us! (Philippians 4:13)
